Bonuan Boneless Bangus


Regional Foods Marketing is in the business of distribution, processing and marketing of the world famous Bonuan Boneless Bangus. It's highly saleable especially among filipino communities abroad like U.A.E (Seaside food mart), Guam, Hongkong etc. Our bangus are cultured in the pristine and unpolluted waters of Bonuan District in Pangasinan, which also plays host for the annual Bangus Festival and the City of Dagupan is listed in the Guiness Book of World Record as having the longest grill in the world. Our product was also chosen as the recipient of the 2003 Consumers Choice and Dangal ng Pilipinas Award for Most Outstanding Frozen Fish Products.


We have been the pioneer in the business of distributing this famous seafood in major supermarkets like SM, Pilipinas Makro, Big R Supermakets, Robinsons Supermarkets, Garcia's supermarket, Eunilaine Supermart etc. We are also open for distributorship arrangements for those who wants to go into this business.


Let me share with you some recipes handed down to me by my grandmother:

Bangus Recipe # 2

Ihiwaw na bangus
Ingredients:
4 big bangus (clean and scaled)
2 big onions (diced)
Pinch black pepper
1 tablespoon rock salt
2 tablespoon calmansi juice
Oil Aluminum foil
One-half (1/2) cup soy sauce
2 pieces hot chili pepper (minced)
Procedure:

1. In a bowl, mix onion, tomatoes and black pepper.
2. Stuff bangus with the mixture.
3. Grease aluminum foil with oil and wrap bangus individually.
4. Grill or bake until well cooked.
5. Serve with soy sauce, calamansi and hot chili pepper (mix).

Paksiw na Bangus
Ingredients:
3 Medium bangus (clean, scaled and halved)
2 small ampalaya (quartered)
2 eggplants (quartered)
1 small ginger (crushed)
4 pieces long green pepper
2 cups vinegar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon patis (fish sauce)

Procedure:

1. In a casserole, arrange vegetables at the bottom.
2. Add in bangus, long green pepper and ginger.
3. Pour in vinegar and bring to a boil.
4. Lower the heat and pour in water.
5. Allow cooking and season with patis.
6. Serve hot.
